Status of Yukon Historic Sites

Due to the current COVID-19 restriction, there will be some changes at Yukon’s historic sites this summer. The health and safety of public and staff is our priority at this time. Status of Yukon Historic Sites may change subject of future phases of COVID-19 restrictions.

We recognize that Yukoners are eager to get out and explore the Yukon but we ask that the Yukoners respect the wishes of Yukon communities and adhere to closures and guidelines described below when visiting our historic sites.  In addition, all orders and recommendations issued by Yukon’s Chief Medical Officer of Health apply in Yukon Historic Sites including:

  • Gatherings of only 10 people or less are permitted
  • Wash hands frequently with soap and water
  • Maintain a 2-metre distance from those not in your own household
  • Cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue
  • If you're feeling sick, stay home and avoid contact with those in your household
