We recognize that people are eager to get out and explore Yukon but we ask that visitors respect the wishes of Yukon communities and adhere to guidelines described below when visiting our historic sites.  In addition, all orders and recommendations issued by Yukon’s Chief Medical Officer of Health apply in Yukon Historic Sites including:

  • Gatherings of only 50 people or less are permitted,
  • All visitors must wear masks in indoor public spaces or when social distancing is not possible,
  • Only camp with members of your social bubble – maximum 1 bubble per campsite,
  • Maintain a 2-metre distance from those not in your own household,
  • Clean your picnic table before and after use,
  • Follow all park and campground rules and practice the Safe 6 +1; and
  • Self-isolate for 14 days, if necessary, prior to visiting a Historic Site.

Additionally:

  • No one is permitted to self-isolate in a Historic Site.
  • Non-residents who are required by law to travel through Yukon within 24 hours cannot stay or stop at a Historic Site.

Conrad Historic Site is open to visitors.  The Conrad Historic Site is walk-in access only, except for service vehicles. You may access the trails, green space, and water bodies. You may also use the camping areas, picnic tables, garbage bins, firepits and outhouses. Please keep the site clean and use the bear proof food lockers to avoid wildlife encounters.

Fort Selkirk Historic Site is open to visitors. All historic buildings will be open and guided tours will be available. Visitors can use the campground and walk the Fort Selkirk grounds. Staff will be monitoring and enforcing COVID protocols.  Please keep the site clean to avoid wildlife encounters.

Forty Mile Historic Site is to open visitors. You may access the trails, green space, and water bodies. You may also use the camping areas, picnic tables, garbage bins, firepits and outhouses. Please keep the site clean and use the bear proof food lockers to avoid wildlife encounters.

Rampart House and LaPierre Historic Sites are open to visitors. You may access the trails, green space, and water bodies. You may also use the camping areas and outhouses at Rampart House. Please keep the site clean to avoid wildlife encounters.

Robinson Roadhouse is open to visitors. You may access the trails and green space. You may also use the picnic tables and outhouses. Please keep the site clean to avoid wildlife encounters.
