Km 510 - Selwyn
The Selwyn River and its tributaries have supported small-scale placer gold mining since 1898. During the Klondike Gold Rush, this short-lived centre consisted of a NWMP. post, telegraph station and post office. Later, this settlement became one of many wood camps providing fuel for the sternwheelers.
